Welcome to Joyful Noise! We are located on the near West Side of Cleveland and provide free individual music lessons and the free loan of instruments to our students. All our administrative staff and teachers are unpaid volunteers, making us unique among serious music schools in Cleveland.
What motivates us? Everybody at Joyful Noise has witnessed the power of music to elevate individuals and transform lives. It is a mysterious, hard-to-explain power, but it invigorates all those associated with the school, drawing us back year after year to our teaching. The introduction page sketches our history, and features a brief movie introducing some of our students and their musicianship.
